the wedding

I was at the wedding yesterday, more accurately at the party afterwords, but I'm not sure about the english word for it (reception?). A friend of mine from work, Tihana, was getting married. Actually, I only got back home about two hours ago, slept a little, and now I can't sleep anymore, although I'm so so tired.

Anyway, it wasn't so bad. I mean it was ok, it's just that I didn't know almosty anyone there, so I was limited to spending time with one other friend from the firm, and that was it. And neither she or I know how to dance *the male way*, leading (or whatever it's called), so we couldn't dance together, except when the band was playing some fast tune, which unfortunately wasn't very often, they mostly played folk music, which I don't like (mildly said) much. Oh well. Tihana was having the time of her life, so I guess that's most important.

The food was fantastic though. I've been to many many weddings in the last few years, and no matter how I like/don't like the music sometimes, I ALWAYS like the food. It's always similar, but always delicious. Homemade noodle soup, loads of different tipes of meat with different meals, and then after midnight  a lamb, and in the morning gulas. I'm sorry to all vegeterians, but I'm a meat-lover :P, I wish I wasn't so much, but I am, what can I say.  In short - loads of all kinds of traditional, very nutritive food all around, and of course, lots of different cakes  and a wedding cake. :) I feel like I've eaten enough for the entire next week. It's not a problem normally, because here at the weddings people dance A LOT, so they spend the calories. However, since I didn't dance all that much this time, it's still all inside me, and I feel a bit full, maybe that's why I can't sleep. I guess I better get up then, so... good morning to me! :)
